Dr. Tiffany Johnson, Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Tiffany M. Johnson is the Founder and CEO of Rocket Solutions Consulting, LLC, a women- and minority-owned firm specializing in organizational change management, leadership development, and youth development strategies for public, private, and nonprofit organizations. A Washington, DC native now residing in Seattle, Washington, she brings both lived experience and national perspective to her work with organizations serving diverse communities.
Dr. Johnson earned a PhD in Business Administration with a concentration in Organizational Leadership from Northcentral University, a Master of Public Administration with a concentration in Public Management from the University of the District of Columbia, and a Bachelor’s in Parks and Recreation Management with a minor in Business Administration from North Carolina Central University. These educational experiences ground her consulting practice in both public sector leadership and community-based service delivery.
With more than 20 years of experience in parks and recreation and public service leadership roles, Dr. Johnson has led high-impact initiatives that advance equity, inclusion, and strategic organizational growth at local and national levels. She is a past president of the National Recreation and Park Ethnic Minority Society and has been recognized multiple times by the National Recreation and Park Association and the American Academy for Parks and Recreation Administration for her leadership and contributions to the profession. Dr. J or Tiff as many know her is also a published author.
Her dissertation, “Increasing Implicit Gender Bias Awareness Among Leaders in City Government: A Case Study of the City of Seattle,” reflects her commitment to advancing inclusive leadership and evidence-based change management practices. Known to many as “Dr. J,” she is regarded as a catalyst for change, facilitating engaging trainings, strategic planning processes, and professional development experiences that help organizations build stronger, more equitable workplaces and services.
